Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This policy describes how Forge collects, uses, shares, and protects consumer health data — information that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status, including injuries and pain you log in the app. It supplements our main Privacy Policy, which covers our other data practices. Where the two differ on consumer health data, this policy controls.
Categories of consumer health data we collect
- Injuries and pain you log — body part, pain levels, dates, and notes you enter when tracking an injury or a pain report.
- Movement limitations — constraints such as exercises to avoid or reduce load on, tied to an injury.
- Patterns and insights we calculate — trends and summaries the app derives from your training and health data, such as whether pain in an area is rising, stable, or resolving.
Why we collect it
- To show you your own history and trends.
- To generate coaching guidance inside the app.
- To share with a coach you connect — only if you turn that sharing on.
We do not use consumer health data for any other purpose.
Where it comes from
- You — forms, chat with the AI coach, and your journal entries.
- Metrics we compute — calculated from the data your connected devices and services provide.
Who we share it with
We share consumer health data only with the service providers that help us run the app, acting on our behalf:
- Anthropic, our AI processing provider, to generate coaching responses.
- Twilio, our SMS delivery provider, when you use text-message coaching.
- Cloud hosting and database providers that store the app's data.
We never sell consumer health data, and we never share it for advertising purposes.
Your rights
- Access and export — request a copy of your consumer health data.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate consumer health data.
- Deletion — delete an injury at any time; this permanently deletes it and its pain history.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw your consent to our collection or use of consumer health data at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@protocol.us.
Data retention
We keep your consumer health data for as long as your account is active, or until you delete it.
