Forge is a personal fitness and training app operated by Healthspan Group LLC. By creating an account and using Forge, you agree to these terms.
Forge Coach messaging program
- Program name
- Forge Coach
- Program description
- Personalized training guidance sent by text message: workout recommendations, feedback after you complete a workout, periodic check-ins on sleep, recovery and progress, and replies to training questions you text us.
- How to join
- Open Settings in the Forge app, go to the SMS Messaging section, enter your own mobile number, and confirm it with the one-time verification code we text you. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase or of using the app.
- Message frequency
- Message frequency varies. Most people receive a few messages per week, plus a reply whenever they text the coach.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply. Forge does not charge you for these messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
- To stop messages
- Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You can also turn messaging off in Settings.
- For help
- Reply HELP to any message, or email info@protocol.us.
- Carriers
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
Your mobile number and messaging opt-in are handled as described in our Privacy Policy, and are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Not medical advice
Forge provides general fitness and training information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional. Talk to your doctor before starting or changing an exercise program, and stop and seek care if you feel unwell.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information, and only enter a mobile number that belongs to you.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to breach security, disrupt the service, access other people's data, or use Forge for unlawful purposes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continued use of Forge means you accept the updated terms.
